The CAMP Story

Born from a funny idea that my dad came up with to combat all the complicated and cheesy Christian t-shirts that were being sold like crazy. He didn’t think anything of them, but the CAMP shirts started selling like wildfire. People came up with acrostics like “Can a mouse pee?” and “Cheerleaders are more peppy” just to name a few. 

CAMP is representative of the places where my dad would spread the gospel and tell others about Jesus. His passion and love for others to know Jesus was infectious. And summer camps are where he did that best. “Camp” is a simple word on a shirt, but with this one word we can tell others about Jesus. We can share my dad’s story and ultimately share the gospel in one conversation with a single shirt! Sometimes we can easily forget the simplicity of the gospel. Jesus calls us to be his disciples and share the good news to all nations! That is what He is commanding every one of us to do. Whether that be at a camp, your front yard, a restaurant, or across the world. Share the love of Jesus with your words and the way you live life. This shirt can be a reminder of that.
